Profile
Mr. Li Wen once served in the army and in the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. From August 1998 to January 1999, Mr. Li Wen was successively sent by Ministry of Justice to intern and work in law firms in Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, etc. He set up Li Wen & Partners in June 1994.
Mr. Li Wen represented Agricultral Bank of China in a high-profile L/C litigation for US$10 billion in London upon appointment by the State Council of China and was commended by the State Council of China after winning the case. He has provided legal service in sectors as real estate development, financing, M&A, retail and has represented several banks and financial institutions to ask for payment of debt, to enforce judgment of court and award of arbitration and to dispose the non-performing assets of financial institutions. He also represented many foreign companies, institutions or individuals to carry out investment negotiation or commercial investigation. He once visited Germany and the United Kingdom as a delegate of All China Lawyers Association.

Having got the Practice License in 1986, Mr. Li Wen started his practice in a law firm directly under Ministry of Justice.
Academic Activities
Mr. Li Wen was honored Senior Lawyer by the Ministry of Justice in 1992. Now he serves as an arbitrator in China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Committee, director of Beijing Council for International Investment Promotion and director of the Seventh (2005гн2008) Beijing Lawyers Association.
