Mr. Lian practices as attorney-at-law and trademark attorney in the Intellectual Property Group of the Beijing Office.

 

His practice focuses on trademark, copyright, unfair-competition, internet, domain name and litigation. He has extensive experience in trademark prosecution, oppositions, appeal, cancellation, licensing, anti-counterfeiting and other trademark areas as well as copyright, unfair-competition, internet, domain name and litigation.

 

Mr. Lian Yunze started his legal practice in 1983 when he joined China Global Law Office. He was then specialized in international trade and investment. From 1985 to 1996, he worked with CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, during which period he worked for four years in CCPIT’s office in Canada. Prior to joining Hao Tian Law Office as partner in 2001, he was a partner and co-founder of C&M Law Office. He also has working experience in a foreign law firm of strong IP practice.

 

Since 1985, Mr. Lian has been practicing in the field of intellectual property law, specializing in trademark, copyright, unfair competition, domain names and IP litigation. He is one of the first group of lawyers in China who obtained trademark agent’s qualification. Mr. Lian has handled trademark registrations for many multinational corporations. His achievements in anti-counterfeiting are recognized by the owners of some of the world’s most well-known trademarks.

 

Mr. Lian participated in revising the China Trademark Law and its implementing regulations. He writes extensively in national and international publications on intellectual property. His articles in international IP publications:
