Hylands sent an IP delegation to attend the 130th INTA Annual  Meeting

This year’s INTA Annual Meeting made Hylands Law Firm really a difference.

Displaying the real scenes on the anti-counterfeiting actions in China, Hylands Law Firm, with her booth in the official location of the annual meeting, attracted the minds of many IP lawyers and attorneys from all over the world on anti-counterfeiting in China. The scenes were actually taken in the real actions conducted by the administrative authorities in China, including the administrative authorities for Industry and Commerce (AIC), Quality and Technology Supervision Bureaus (QTSB), and the Customs.

A local journalist, who did not expose his name, but only introduce himself as a staff of INTA, was deeply touched by the scenes. He said that he had been surrounded by the complaints on the counterfeits from China, but he had not been told that so powerful actions were being taken against counterfeiting in China.

The booth were open from May 18 to May 21, 2008.

Beside the booth, six seminars on the same topic were also held by Hylands Law Firm respectively from May 19 to May 21 in Hotel Concord, Berlin. “How to find it”, “How to stop it”, “How to jail them”, “How to get damages”, and “How to prevent it” were the main concerns of the seminars. The partners of Hylands Law Firm, Mr. Lian Yunze and Ms. Connie Zhuang, gave speeches in the seminars.

The seminars were truly a success, with over ninety attendees in the first seminar. The other five seminars also gathered great minds of the international IP lawyers and attorneys.

From May 18 to May 21,2008,six attorneys of Hylands Law Firm, including the partners Mr.Lian Yunze and Ms Connie Zhuang,attended the 130th INTA Annual Meeting in Berlin,Germany. As a leading law firm on anti-counterfeiting in mainland China,during the meeting, Hylands rented a booth in the main location of the meeting, ICC Berlin,and held six seminars on anti-counterfeiting at Concord Hotel from May 19 to May 21, which attracted many international IP attorneys to interact with the main speakers, Mr.Lian and Ms.Zhuang.The seminars were very successful, and the attendees benefited a lot.
