He has extensive experience in drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications as well as in patent re-examination and invalidation proceedings. Before joining Hylands, he worked for four years as an examiner at Physics Department of China Patent Office and practiced for one year as a patent attorney with a firm of patent and trademark attorneys, Dragon International Patent Office.
